cannot be, KSL is the easiest and most straight forward mall to go by bus from JB sentral, either take S1 or IM17 whichever arrive first, same price.

go back to JB Sentral, S1 will stop there at KSL for awhile to pick up pple. wait inside aircon till u see bus arrived, where got scary.

Go Tebrau den abit scary, bus-stop along highway, weekdays u can be alone there, kena rob oso nobody know.

Hey tmr I going jb... Can tell me what buses to take from kranji mrt to Ksl? Thanks!

There's no direct bus from Kranji to KSL.

From Kranji, take either 170 (EZLink card) or CW1 (S$1/pax) all the way to JB CIQ, then walk to JB Sentral to take either S1 or IM17 (RM1.50/Pax).

Guardian Pharmacy is in the basement aka LG.

It's in the corner on the other side of Tesco. With Tesco behind you, walk to the opposite side and turn left, you'll see Guardian at the end.

At last, managed to find a chance to check out the Marmolada Food Court over the weekend. It's a nicer walk from KSL to this foodcourt. =:p

Stopped at a Malay stall in front to check out what they're selling, and was recommended the Nasi Lemak Kukus by a Chinese customer there. Had to skip coz it's already 9pm, but will be back to try some other time.

There's an elderly man with a little makeshift fruit stall. Got him to cut up the pieces of fruits that we chose, and put in one of his disposable plates. He even put some sour plum powder at the side without us having to ask. :)

This place may look more congested than Cedar Point because of its layout, but I found the atmosphere more comfortable - nice and cool to sit down, relax, and just munch on some fruits/food.

Wanted to try the Sarawak Kolo Mee, but the stall was closed. Saw a dessert stall in the middle of the yard, also closed. :s22:

Before leaving, we went to dabao some oyster omelette from a stall that also sells quite a few other dishes, like 3 or 4 types of char kwey teow. OK ... their oyster omelette is written as "pyster" - you'll see a sign "Pyster/Prawn Omelette". :D Chili sauce was good, the fragrance escaped when we opened the pack later, oysters were big, but somehow the flour combo wasn't quite right. Could be coz it's initially prepared by the assistant as the boss was having his dinner nearby.

Will try to make it back there for dinner some day. :)

I was at KSL surrounding area on Saturday. Went in to buy something but decided to take a risk and try Tesco KSL. I went outside KSL building (from Tesco exit) to have my lunch, looking for something soupy. walk around in the roast pork/duck (2 shops in one) coffee shop direction and at the end of that stretch, just opposite. This shop call Goodfoodtastehouse (few shops away was Kapitan). Ordered wanton mee and a dessert, nothing fantastic though. Surprising, I saw this noticed pasted on their pillar, free wifi with password pasted on it. So next time, in case you wanted to use apps, why not try that area.

Both places are more of an evening dinner/supper setup; go after 5pm would be safer.

Cedar Point one is behind Hotel Grand Paragon. Exit from the Ground Floor (G, if you're in a lift) which is also the same floor as the hotel's entrance, turn right and follow the road towards Hotel Grand Paragon which you should be able to see in a distance. You'll come to a T-junction, turn left into that road you can see Cedar Point on the right already. On Monday evenings, just follow the pasar malam stalls which will end at that T-junction.

For Marmolada, leave KSL via the Lower Ground floor (LG, if you're in a lift) aka KFC exit. Turn left and follow the road all the way (will past shophouses on both sides) until you come to the T-junction. Marmolada is across the road towards the left.

Just wanted to warn people about this shop at KSL City. (Below is a lengthy post and I apologise in advance if it bores you.)

So last Saturday I was in JB when I thought I should get my gelish manipedi removed. I had the misfortune of choosing to enter this one shop called Finger Cure at KSL City that will cause me to be traumatised forever. What follows below is a very lengthy post about the supremely crappy job I encountered.

Okay first things first, as a female, I have been to quite a few nail salons in my life but NEVER have I ever encountered such a bad manipedi session before!!

Was attended to by a young lady with long gold hair (no specs). Don't know her name because they don't wear tags. Every time I said she was hurting me as she worked on my hands, she smiled at me like she thought it was funny.

She was attempting to remove the nail embellishments on 4 of my fingernails and didn't give it enough time to soak in acetone before she started trying to pluck them off with tweezers. Every time she twisted and pulled and I yelped she either ignored me or smiled.

When she finally got them all off and asked me how I wanted my nails shaped, I told her I wanted straight/square cut nails. It didn't matter what I wanted apparently because she filed round anyway. And not even properly! Some nails were rounded some were slanted "squares". When I pointed out a wrongly filed square-ish nail (it was longer on one end), she didn't seem like she understood and started filing it round and when I insisted I wanted it square, she told me that they didn't file too square because our nails might get caught in our hair. Huh?! I've never noticed myself doing that before!

The way she held the nail file was so bad too because it hurt every time she filed and even worse, she ended up filing off the skin of one of my fingertips! When I yelped and it started bleeding, she smiled at me like it was funny again!!! I gave up on trying to correct the wrongly shaped nails after that because it hurt so badly.

And every time she sprayed disinfectant on my hands and I nearly cried from the pain (I actually teared), she just smiled! (I actually think she was spraying so many times just to watch me cry!)

My nails were all horribly out of shape after she was done and the paint job was horrible; blotchy and lumpy and had gaps everywhere. I left with 6 bleeding fingers!

I could have insisted on not paying but I did anyway because I'm an idiot (actually I have to admit, I've never not paid for something before, and don't know how one would go about it), and she didn't even say sorry throughout the whole torture session! After collecting the money she just promptly turned around like we were not there! I will never go back again!

PS. I actually have photos of the damage done to my nails but I will not post unless someone's actually interested. Okay, thanks for reading and do warn your lady friends.

I think you got me wrong. It not a matter of inside KSL, but when you are outside and surrounding that area. One area you can look out for. Not walk all the way back to KSL unless you can. Sometimes, it doesn't happen.

Hi guys, is it possible to take S1 bus back to Singapore from KSL mall? First time taking bus go..

S1 and M?17 will take you back to JB Sentral bus station which is within short walking distance to the CIQ building. You can proceed to the bus bay for your SG-bound bus after you've cleared immigration and customs.

Went to Marmolada Food Court past 2 evenings for dinner. :D

First evening tried the Sarawak Kolo Mee, thought order small one so can try other food, but the small one wasn't as small as I thought. Plus the ABC ice kacang and a lime drink, resulted in having to dabao the BBQ chicken wings back to room for supper. :s13:

Had braised chicken rice second evening, and enjoyed it. No drinks, nothing this time. :o

Spoke to one of the hawkers and was recommended the BBQ fish and yong tau fu with cheong fan. Next time then! =:p

Yup, I find this a better setting than Cedar Point. ;)

Marmolada Food Court only open in evening ? Is this the place?
Google Map location of Marmolada Food Court?

Yes, that's the one. I don't seem to see much activities there during the day, only in the evening to late night.

Was watching it from my hotel room the other day, only saw 1 guy pushing a wheelbarrow and another spraying water on the floor - probably washing the place.

That's the stall down the back, near the chicken rice stall? I think their signboard is green or yellow color? Now that you've described the face, I'm not sure if I want to approach them. :s13:

Come to think of it, I saw a family sitting near their stall, but ordered a fish and some rice (don't know if anything else) from a shop somewhere else - served from the opposite direction. Hmm...=:p

OK, will share info if I do go and try. :D
