mayb i give them the " i very poor" impression she tot i bo money lo. the tone she reply machiam is like "very ex la , u wont want to buy" the store near the row of toilet there. that time when i go is 4 plus or 5 plus. still very early not much ppl yet.

Wow, this kind of face to a potential customer?

Maybe their food is really popular, but if shown this kind of face, I'd rather not eat there. But ya, maybe will go try if I can get a friend to do the ordering instead. :s13:

Which singapore owner shop? Can tell me more?

If it's the one along the shophouses near the roast meat double-shops (exit from "KFC side"), then I think it's not a SG owner, but one who's studying/studied here...?

Got to find back that particular post ... I think was last year's. =:p

2D1N malaysia trip (johore)

Planning on a 2D1N trip with my close buddy to Johore. Both unfamiliar with the place but have been travelling to many other countries from time to time.

This trip, we just plan of eating, massage and chilling. No clubbing etc. Just go there to see, shop since exchange rate is so good right now, and we are having our break from career switch now.

Just 2 days of activites, plus 1 budget hotel or motel recommendation will do.

Anyone?

I personally been to Terrbaru city before. Like the place. Other than that, not too sure where else to explore

Terbrau has a big mall, and I've read somewhere about a budget hotel just across the street. That's one possibility.

Other than that, you can consider KSL with a not-that big mall, check out the eatries along the shophouses outside or the foodcourt and restaurants in the mall, the massage place mentioned earlier, and 11 Century Hotel which someone here has given a thumbsup in terms of a budget hotel.

Ksl or jb sentral recommended if staying the weekend because connected to Larkin terminal which can take you to all parts of johor. For what you want, either KSL or City Square area will do.

I'm not really a fan of hanging around City Square during the weekends - too crowded. =:p

KSL City can satisfy your requirement. Cinema in the complex. Food within and in the vicinity. Massage in the vicinity and also the Holiday Plaza, which is within walking distance. There are terrace houses along the main street outside Holiday Plaza, with popular massage joints. Cheaper hotels 11@Century and Grand Paragon, if you consider KSL Hotel too pricey.

Perhaps you can consider city square mall + new Komtar JBCC mall. Their shops is similar as Tebrau Aenon and has a cinema too. City square and komtar JBCC is side by side and near to custom too. But has no supermarket like giant, tesco, jusco and etc there.

I thought some one mentioned there that there is a Kapitan at JBCC? else you can walk over to Galleria Kotaraya. There is a branch over there. Much bigger than the one at basement of City Square.

The Kapitan in Komtar JBCC is a bigger version of the one in the basement of City Square - with raw chicken, fruits, vegetables, etc, among the usual supermarket products.

Been over a year since I was last at Galleria Kotaraya. Might find an opportunity to hop over one day. :)

There is now another Kapitan at Komtar, to bring the total to 3 in the city centre.
