Seafood at taman garden

Taman Sentosa is one of Singapore's favourite hangout at Johor Bahru in Malaysia. Singaporeans gather across the causeway to this well known hawker market for 3 crucial reasons – delicious seafood, finger licking good durians and above all cheap petrol.

any stalls selling durians near KSL ?

3 spots I can think of:
- Monday's pasar malam
- the road down the left of KFC exit, somewhere near the roast meat coffee shop
- basement of KSL mall

KSL atrium, there is a stall selling durian. You can eat there too, they provide plastic gloves. However, they cost more. At the parsam malam on Monday. I did that 2 weeks ago. There are easily 5-6 stalls selling durian. Most of them belonging to the D class durian, and a few selling red prawn. Can't really tell the different. Anyway, it is cheaper than here. I had one, so call smaller one which is still quite big. RM8/kg D101. Don't know which stall to patronise, so I just anyhow choose a stall. RM8 was the more expensive one for that stall. In fact, I think most of them charges the similar price.

Paid RM13 for 1.7kg, reasonably big I should say, not bad but I won't say compare to MSW. But that that breed quite good.

The one in the basement of KSL mall did, not sure if still do or are they the same one in the atrium mentioned. Basement one actually owned a durian farm (gave me a namecard but I've kept it somewhere "too well" :o ), and even organized durian tour.

Or try the one down the road in front of KFC exit turn left, somewhere near the roast meat coffee shop. It's a makeshift stall along the roadside.

Basement got 2 stalls right? Which stall you referring to? I bought at the one next to Each a cup. Service not very good cos the gal keep chatting with some customer who bought "3 boxes" of durians from her.

When I went the previous trips, there's only 1 stall there. Never seen a gal at the stall either. :s13:

I should be going one of these couple of days, will take a look and let you know. ;)

There has been so much coverage in this thread already about the coffeeshop and even hawker centre options in Taman Century where the mall is located.

Where's the MacDonald's at KSL? :s11:

Go out into the streets around - lots of breakfast there! Or go into the hotel's coffeehouse.
