So rm8 for the card. Do I have to TOP up if not how they deduct the 5sen?

There's a RM5 preload value, if you look carefully in the link. Up to you to decide if you need more than that for your usage and if so, yes, a top-up will be necessary.

any decent good massage place to recommend in or around KSL Mall?

JC Reflexology is ok. Did foot + back massage there twice. RM50 for 1 hr. Opp the pork ribs soup row. So exit near the KFC, turn left, walk a short stretch.

Any jam? Very scary and waste time

See what time you enter and exit. It's been known people don't mind 2hrs in jam because stuff there are much cheaper especially diapers and even branded milk powder.

One of the handphone accessories booths in the basement has cages in a corner with some exotic pets too.

Can see but don't try to smuggle home, okay. :D

Go weekday morning or afternoon no jam. On my way back last Friday at 9pm plus, I saw human traffic at custom entering JB and heavy traffic jam from woodlands to JB too. But those going back from JB to woodlands has no jam.

That's a norm on Friday evenings/nights, when most Malaysians working here travel home, some daily and many more on their weekly trips back. Not forgetting SGians and foreigners on their weekend breaks up north.

Highest traffic JB-SG is normally Sunday nights or last day of a long weekend.

Before 9am if possible, otherwise be prepared to join long queues.

Around 10am or so, Malaysians working night shift or late the night before will be heading home, locals and foreigners on day or weekend trips will be heading over after an early breakfast as well.
