Very nice but I don’t feel comfortable staying at condo aka Air bnb. Anyone has other hotel recommendation at around $100 a night. Going again in Dec.

had booked 10 airbnb stays at Msia before~ so far no issue~ most of the time no need to face the hosts~

hmm... we didn't find anything amiss since the place is pretty new ~ anyway, another place i stayed before was Robertson residence, not bad also~ the infinite pool also has view~ :s22:

Is it possible to do a Day trip to Kuala Lumpur via flight and come back. See that it's quite affordable at the 90-100 range. On that day trip, what can we do

If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, they offer hotels around RM200 at the Chow Kit area. 4 Point by Sheraton @ Chinatown is around RM330. Join Marriott Bonvoy by enrolling online.

Say 9am flight, arrival 10am, pass immigration at 11am. Take train from KLIA2 to KL Sentral (40mins). From KL Sentral one can Grab to Midvalley Mega Mall, shop & makan. Back to KL Sentral and take LRT to KLCC, shop, sight see & makan. Back to KL Sentral, shop & makan at NU Sentral and travel by train back to KLIA2 and more makan before return trip :ROFLMAO:

But seriously, if tired of shopping & makan, can take train from KL Sentral to Batu Caves and back, that is probably like a day trip already. I normally used KL Sentral as the main transit point.

Have you considered taking to and fro from Senai airport at JB? To save a bit of cost?

No. May take 2-3hrs from Senai to SIN making it very time wasting for a day trip. Ended up spending half the time taking bus and queuing at immigration check points.

Hi guys,

If I take an overnight coach and reached KL at 6am, what are some of the recommended places to go from 7-10am before the shops are open?

Thank you!

If you take a coach and reach KL so early, you can hike a hill for the sunrise. However Sri Bintang is not easy, more logical is the Bukit Nanas Forest Eco Park at KL Tower for simple hike, no sunrise view. Batu Cave opens very early also.
For breakfast I prefer Chow Kit over Jln Petaling.
