firefly flies out of SIN via Seletar and Arrives in Subang Airport in KL. If one is heading to KL Bintang area, suggest to fly Air Asia to KLIA 2 then travel by train to KL Sentral and then via Grab to Bintang area. KLIA express train is very clean and convenient.

If one has options, perhaps can consider staying around KL Sentral such as Le Meridien / Hilton / Aloft / Ascott etc which is right by KL Sentral. Traveling by train/MonoRail/LRT to various shopping malls is easy from there.

of cos I'm not kumgong until book tio different flight that fly from Seletar Airport n don't land in KLIA!

it was a codeshare flight FY7322 i was trying to find out what other difference there are since it's the same plane as MH604.

so being cheaper by ard 30bucks, will kena some inconvenience of cannot do web check in from msia airline website. by right firefly flight can use their own website to web check in but their t&c got state Codeshare flight cannot use.
And then i tried to call Firefly sg hotline to try to find out more, end up the number no longer in use!

but just to share what i found out these 2 days, the codeshare flight is can book lah, will end up on the same MH flight, just that cannot web check in, and then online info will scare you and say wait till go airport then check in might have possibility of being bump off the flight. etc etc.

anyone stayed floresta hotel in KL Chinatown? its listed on agoda as floresta but when i use Google maps to see it there's a swiss inn hotel instead.

I remember that run we'd in the old KL airport when we're young with too much energy. We're checking in when I guess the staff saw us "can run type" coz we'd some sports equipment with us, asked if we'd like an earlier flight which happened to have empty seats. The only catch was that we'd to jog to the boarding gate.

We took the challenge since it'd otherwise be a boring wait for our flight, and that became a memorable trip.

Some good places to go for food:

BKT in Pudu. Their dry BKT tokong, the pork belly pengkang nice nice but still retains the consistency of tofu and firm when you bite into it. Drizzle the oil from the claypot onto your rice for the ultimate experience. 1 dry BKT + 1 herbal tea RM15 only. Why so cheap? Because the coffeeshop is quite rundown but clean and they expanded to place some seating on the roadside, you will get cars and motor driving past inches beside you! Great if you want to feel like you're in Indo/Vietnam/Cambodia.

Any Pizza Mansion outlet if you're craving Neapolitan style pizza. Their dough is paper thin yet can hold a thick sauce and plenty of ingredients on it. The aftertaste of the ingredients will linger for hours after your meal and make you want more.

Taman Connaught Pasar Malam - I believe this is the largest night market in KL area. Only opens on Weds from 5pm onwards, best to go during that time as it's not too crowded. After 6pm it becomes people mountain people sea. A lane of the whole main road will be blocked by illegally parked cars so the traffic jam is quite terror down there. There will be limited areas with rudimentary seating placed around the whole area so you can get a seat to enjoy your meal but be considerate and don't hog the seats. Eat finish already f**k off. If you can tabao your food and drive somewhere else nicer to enjoy even better. Prices are reasonable - RM15 for豬腳醋, RM8-9 for CKT, RM10 for a pack of 龍鬚糖 (dragon's beard candy) and I think the uncle uses pineapple sugar because it's got a pineapple taste to it?! Anything these guys are selling is pretty good and again, prices are reasonable by KL standards.

ya....when i go early KLIA as my frd was on earlier flt so left tgr to airport

check in the staff ask me wan take earlier flt n of cos yes lah
