How much are the prices? Because the last time I stayed in an AirBnB penthouse room near Bukit Bintang earlier this year, it costs me S$33 per day.

thats a decent price.. around the same for the hotels around kl sentral. but then theres hilton and Le meridian if you willing to spend a bit more.

Grab is fine in KL. Some timings will be more expensive like in SG.
And the wait time for a car to come to you can be about 10-15 mins because of the traffic.

If you prefer more spacious car, choose Grabcar plus, which is about RM15 to 20 more. Usually it's Japanese car.

The cheapest option usually is Proton/Perodua, and can be quite cramped at the back and the car is quite bumpy.

For an hour ride, better to choose something more comfy.

Share a low-budget itinerary:
1. Coach to TBS, then LRT to Pudu to walk to and stay at D'Majestic Place, a serviced apartment along Jln Pudu.
2. Walk along Jln Pudu to Berjaya Times Square and Bukit Bintang, exploring eating places along the way.
3. Follow Jln Imbi to TRX which is still the newest luxury mall in the city with an imposing roof-top garden.
4. Supper at Pudu or at the roof-top pool-side bar of D'Masjestic with splendid view of the KL cityscape.

Return flights can be cheap, with options of airlines and airports. Keep a look out for <$40 flights back from Subang or KLIA to Changi, or if you like, Seletar.

The cheap alternative to the KLIA Ekspres is to take the airport bus costing only RM12-15 from one of these departure points, Pudu Sentral, KL Sentral and TBS.

grab is fine, depends on the timing, same as in sg, if peak hours the price will surge

Share reviews of food at TRX.
1. Madam Kwan's - my usual go-to place at KLCC Suria is also found here. Over the years the menu expanded. I hope they kept their standards with all their signatures
2. Hai Kah Lang 海脚人 - I prefer their new branch at Taman Sentosa JB for ambience. I have never had better fish soup anywhere else on this planet. Michelin Bib well-deserved.
