Just want to share 1 of the worst experience we had taking coach to KL on 26 Dec.
we took Cityline from Tampines to KL at 615am and upon reaching msia custom side at around 715am, we were told to change bus and look for a bus 1515.
after clearing custom, the whole bus of around 22 passengers waited at the bay and the bus was nowhere to be found. after around 1 hour, no sound no pic. tried to call Easybook customer service, saw online it only starting operation from 9am. Feeling frustrated, tried calling directly to Cityline and they mention they are aware and it will reach within 10 mins.
finally after almost 1.5 hours, the bus came. and it was really not the standard that we paid for. yes, it was 1-2 seating arrangment but bus condition is poor. dust on seats. some insects crawling.
and after asking the bus assistance, they mentioned the orginal engaged driver overslept and they had to quickly get another standby to quickly go drive the bus. oh my.
so with the delay, no stop at Yong Peng. just a stop at RNR for toilet breaks and to get some makan.
my question is, is it nowadays always need to change bus? i saw so many Cityline, Luxury bus continued their journey without needing to change.
for the context, our return journey on 28 Dec is the nightmare 11 hours ride from KL. Took Transtar and the jam is scary. took us almost 4 hours to reach Malacca. and we still have to change bus again at Msia custom again. 2 buses passengers squeeze into 1 44 seater.
defintely not going to take coach again up during festive period.
