Kurzweil KS-40A speakers good?

Managed to pair these with my sub from Creative I-trigue 3400. Sound and bass is now good and powerful but need to adjust the left right balance as the left speaker tends to be softer. Any method of correcting this off balance?

you can go to city music to audit. however, they don't have special room to audit. you will audit together with other people who audit the music instrument.

does it mean you connect both speaker to sub? if you connect both speaker to sub, see if there is balance button on the sub.

Nope, no balance on the sub. Now using the sound card software to tweak left to +4 gain more than the right. Just worried it might damage the speakers if I do this.

You're not supposed to connect the RCA out from your Creative subwoofer to the RCA-in of the Kurzweil or anything other than the passive speakers or satellites of the woofer.

Oh damn......was worried about this. But when I tried to connect the KS to the soundcard and the sub to the c/sub out of the sound card, the sub doesn't work. Any idea how I can get the KS to work with a sub in this case? Using a usb X-FI 5.1.

Their new stock just came in but I guess due to too many pre-order stocks ran out fast. It will be much easier to just pre-order the speakers from them, put a small deposit then wait for their call when stocks come in.

The get the c/sub out to work, the soundcard must be set to 5.1 mode.

Alternatively, set the soundcard to 4.0 (quadraphonic) and use the rear out.

Or use this, less than 5 bucks at electronics/diy store.

try to set the speaker setting as 2.1.

Ok found the solution, was my driver causing the c/sub not to work. Dunno why also, anyway after update to the latest drivers and reboot comp it worked! Noob here at audio stuff so paiseh if pissed off any gurus here k.

So setup as follows:

Configure sound card to work in 5.1 mode. Reboot Comp.

sound card Left Right channels -> KS 40
sound card c/sub -> woofer

it can work fine without subwoofer.
