I think the CPU is too under power already, don't think I want to handicap it further. Wonder if theres an option to run it 100% fixed, fan isn't too loud, its the spinning up/down that's annoying. This could have been solved with a BIOS/software option, This is common knowledge, how Chuwi fail to realise, show how good/bad is this company.

Yeah, I'm also concerned with the spin up and down noise as I used to have a system like that.

i set max cpu to be 60% under power options so the fan is OFF all the time.

Yo bro, have you tried to see what is the % for low fan speed?

Yes this is the only downside for me so far, the fan sound is negligible for me unless I mute everything and take effort to go notice it.

Everything works as advertised and I'm superbly impressed with this purchase

I will probably use 3M tape to stick the mounting plate on the rear of my monitor instead as I couldn't fit the plate due to monitor arm.

My fan noise is actually very soft. Hardly hear if unless I place my ears near to it.

This is temp mounting for me. Till I cfm this little one runs without issue.

Btw, anyone here encounters any issues other than the fan noise? Read the Comment section in Indiegogo, got quite a few DOA.

not for me, left it running and torrenting for 2 days+ liao without any issues.

DOA is just suay I guess, need to send back China for exchange.

there are definitely risks for such crowdfunding projects. i kena a few, lost more than $500. One such project is the Ossic X headphone & few others that delivery incomplete products.
