Got an upcoming appoint at clear vision for lasik. Anyone have a referral code there?
Hello, I’ve booked EEC and I kindly request for the referral code forpm-ed!
All the best!
MC will be given after lasik to rest. Think the crucial one is the 1st week.sorry im new to this and hope to ask for some guidance.
do you all take leave to rest and care for your eyes after lasik?
and how do you choose which surgeon? i see people asking referral for similar names.
Sorry i am unable to provide my referral anymore. But i believed someone here will helpHello, I’ve booked EEC and I kindly request for the referral code for
Dr Lynn Yeo, Dr Julian Theng & Dr Lim Wee Kiak please
I've just done SMILE at EEC with Dr. Theng. Very pleased with the whole process. I managed to squeeze the appointment in just a week. Assessment took quite a bit of time, from 11AM to 3.30PM. My preference is SMILE. Luckily, Dr. Theng also said SMILE is most ideal for me (thick cornea). Came back at 6.30PM on the same day for the surgery. All done by 8PM. Recovery is going well now.
Only took 1 week from my first contact with EEC until surgery done. Very happy.
I also recently did my ICL for 1 eye and left the other for near-sightedness back in October. I kinda regret doing this as I have problems reading anything at a certain distance, both eyes cannot focus (even checking my bill at the counter at the restaurant! This is damn bad). Go back to doctor he asks me to wear glasses, which kinda defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place! I can't believe he even suggests this at all. (and each visit is about S$100-200 mind you) This is like worse than my pre-surgery condition, I felt like they are so rush, they want to see as many patients as possible, they try to squeeze as many patients as possible within 1 day to maximise $$$ but never really attend to each patient's needs, find out whether suitable for each lifestyle, or any advice for trials first before any surgery, etc. Each patient simply goes thru each station with different optician? to check your eyesight, but all these are so procedural and operational, never on a personal level. You may fix an appointment with Dr Julien Theng, but you only get to see and talk to him like 10 minutes, and only the time when he operates on your eye, thats it. Even the person who is advising you which surgery ICL/lasik/SMILE to do is another guy, not Julien. Fix your appt at 10am but still have to wait and wait and wait. I just want to be able to see far, and yet able to work and function properly. Super annoyed, I know the surgery is reversible, but I wonder if I can ask for refund at EEC? Waste my money and my time waiting and waiting siaLike to check whether anyone did ICL but having issues reading; and how it was rectified? For me, I undergone ICL in early November and, till today, I still have problems when reading. In particular, my eyes still have issues focussing when reading where a part of my vision remains blurry. Can read but can feel there is a part of the vision that remains blurry and unable to focus. Feeling quite irritated especially when working as it feels like I am not totally present kind of feeling. Any sharing of experience appreciated. Thanks!
I want to be able to do contact sports. Hence, PRK and SMILE are more preferable than LASIK. I prefer SMILE over PRK just because of the shorter recovery time. My cornea thickness is also thick enough for SMILE. So it seems like quite straightforward decision for me.Could I ask why you had a preference for SMILE, say over TransPRK? I have been contemplating between these 2 for a while and unable to confidently come to a decision.
May I also PM you for Dr Julian Theng's referral code please?
Edit: Sorry, I realised my account is too new for me to PM anyone. Could I trouble you to PM me instead? Thank you.

Thanks!!
