Now the windows do a lot of things for you. Last time need Windows startup disk, if the startup missing or corrupted, hong gan liao.

why your bios detects 4GB while your 32bit windows detect 3.x GB?

this is one of the reasons,

232 = 4,294,967,296
4,294,967,296 / (1,024 x 1,024) = 4,096
