okok!
me too! i going down to register JLPT later...
u wanna join me?

which school are you studying at?
Thanks for the reply!
So how did it go when you first attended your PA1 lessons?
Did you stuck there for long?
Cos the staffs told me that normally the students take about 6 months to get promoted to the next level.
How about if I take int 4 instead?
In your school, do you pay the same fees as new student if you were repeating a level?
Recently, I failed my review exam and I am required to repeat the same level.
I repeat by joining the next on-going class and not required to pay fees.
This led me to think that this school is serious about teaching Japanese and not so much on making money.
I also felt that smaller school needs to do much more extras so that they do not lose students.
I am studying at AOBA Language Centre.
I must admit that I failed because I was taking my studies very lightly back then.
I had never bothered to revise before I come for the next class. I thought I can catch up just before the exam. I had learned my lesson.
Although in AOBA the penalty for failing is not in financial terms, I paid for my failing in the time spent at the level. My classmates are progressing well leaving me behind. I must tell you that you will not feel good if you are in my situation.
Let us all study conscientiously to improve in our command of the Japanese Language.
Nothing comes easy without putting in effort!

Not started yet... Still waiting to start, but I have classmates in jlpt3 prep class now in PA2, 1 of them got promoted to PA2 from PA1 after only 2 months, so as you can see it really depends on the individual's competency. But I must admit it will be a lot easier if those who are already in bunka for quite some time to easily go through since the entire set of Ele all the way to Adv classes [ total 10 levels ] is designed as 1 set, so those who were previously from other schools may lose out quite a bit in order to benefit from their teaching system.
I think you should take the evaluation test [ for those who finish Int3 ] to promote to Int4 and see how, if you can score 90+, then you can try going for Int4, if not, you are better off starting from Int3, yes, you would spend a little more money, but it is still cheaper than if you were to take individual lessons just to practise speaking and listening. Only when you take the test, then you can see exactly where you stand [ There is very little mcq by the way ].
ya maybe i'll see you in ele2! then we can wreck havoc in this forum with our weekly updates.
and good luck with JLPT too!
anyway! i'd like to seek comments on this dictionary, since kino's having a discount weekend!
(I'm sorry I can't post links.)
