Learn recreationally plus dun need to learn to read and write... Go to Cambridge Language Sch... You just use romaji can survive for Beginner and Intermediate course.

Study in Japan for April 2010 Registration is NOW Open!

Inoue School of Language and Art also has a “Study Abroad in Tokyo” arrangement where students can study and experience life in the real Japanese society. Students can choose between two kinds of courses available. The first is a short-term course lasting 3 months while the second is a long-term course lasting a period from 6 months to 2 years. Students who wish to apply for this programme are required to pass the GCE “O” level. The intake registration is every April and October.

There's only a bit of info. Someone in this thread mentioned that they pay for your expenses but that's long ago. It might change now and don't know safe or not. Don't really wanna get stranded in Japan (maybe I'm worrying too much )
