so the main class will do the grammer while the prep class will do the vocab, kanji and listening?

Listening: Int2 / Int3 / Int4 has listening exercises, and one of the Int levels has a listening test at the end of the course [ to pass to promote to next level ] and of course there are more listening exercises in the prep class too.

Vocab and kanji will only be on those NOT inside the regular Int level 1, 2, 3, 4 syllabus

and explain tricky questions in practise papers also.

Hi all, i'm planning to continue studying my japanese and need some advice here.

studied in poly and passed jlpt 4 last year.
reading basic stuff is no problem but speaking is a big problem.

am planning to go Ikoma or Bunka.
which one is more suitable if i want to learn writing,reading and conversational skills?

Go to both schools and talk to both the head senseis there [ It's Ms Mizusaki at Bunka, the one with an unique hairstyle ]. Speak to current students and *interrogate* the staff. Visit the websites of both schools to see which one provides more information that you need, updated cultural events if you want, what levels correspond to JLPT equivalent, and try the evalution tests on both sides.

If you have been away from learning Japanese for quite some time, it's better to step down a few courses to get yourself warmed up first, rather than risk wasting money and not able to cope with the classes.

After all, you probably intend to spend good money and stay with a school all the way for consistency, right ?

But as a former ikoma student, ill root for ikoma as their lesson do consist of writing,reading and conversational skills. Take their evaluation test at school to see ur current standard. Prolly going to send u to intermidiate class since u have already cleared ur JLPT4.

yes i'm planning to revise everything before the lessons commence so i wont be so lost.
will check out both schools to *interrogate* them and see whats the suitable level for me to enrol in.

but they sent me to advance II when i cleared JLPT 3 worr....
