Looks like have to check with senseis on the accurate translatation of my English answer into Japanese formal answer, casual answer, and answering in slang [ think I translated it into broken Japanese or Japanglish ]...

Update: This week was the 13th lesson out of 20 lessons of the level 3 pre-course.

If this is the case, the sentence would make no sense at all.

I admit my translation might not be so good. But before you come correct me, go read up chapter 39,40 of Minna no Nihongo first, on how te form is used.
If everything in Japanese can be translated into English, why do Japanese learners still use Koujien?
