JCS elementary class registration is on 16 december 2012. If anyone here is interested, mark this date.
Class hours are going to be extended to 2 and a half hours for all levels.
I also heard that classes will be smaller and that elementary class text books will be changed.

There's a list of classes and respective teachers on the board. (All unfamiliar names to me...all the sensei I studied under left JCS already...)
Her name wasn't there, so we asked the counter staff and we were told she wasn't teaching next year.

i am at ikoma. second lesson yesterday. i am pretty happy with the school=) not sure about Bunka.

it looks to me that the school that is published in this website is Beyond Language School.

Even the testimonials are the same.

Although i don't teach new Beginner classes anymore, due to uninterested students dropping out halfway, i believe there's a need for potential students to know about what school they are going to enrol in. Why create another website called LearnJapaneseinSingaporenow.com when it can be linked to Beyond Japanese School website?

SouHyde, Ikoma or Hougang Japanese School would be more well rounded. Also, in the event that you decide to switch schools, other schools like Pyasses, NUS Extension also use the same book as Ikoma and sister publication books from Hougang.

Ikoma IMO
I first studied elementary JP in Bunka then go through elementary again with my friend in Ikoma.

Bunka is faster paced and covers more but Ikoma is more balanced and I find it more suitable for a new learner. I also find Minna no Nihongo easier to digest compared to Bunka textbooks so that is another plus point if you have no prior knowledge.
