hi guys, anyone can advise if i should take n3 or n4 this dec?

Im currently 75% n4 level. I feel i should clear n4 with no probs this dec, or should i challenge n3? Is the n3/n4 gap quite big?

You should try to take N4, then aim for N2 next Jul and Dec.
Taking N3 has no value.

Hi guys don't know if this has been ask before here but I wanna ask a few stuff.

It's correct... the dictionary has the exact phrase.

it should be used with a negative:
人間の深層下に潜む破壊本能を抑えない（抑えられない）限り、なくならないと思いますよ

破壊本能を抑えるー＞戦争がなくなる

N2: 3/5 passers (1st attempt from N4 after 1 yr of studies.) Top scorer with score of 167/180.
N4: 5/5 passers. Top scorer with score of 167/180
N5: 10/13 passers. Top scorer with score of 148/180

Overall. Still have to say. A bit disappointed with myself. But happy to say that my top student has done it again. Passed N2 after 1 yr of studies from N4. NUS student brain v v good.

Sorry, I wanna ask cos I encounter this while studying.

What's the difference between 呼ぶ and 喚ぶ?

According to jisho.org, they are the same, interchangeable. If so, why do people write 喚ぶ instead of 呼ぶ?

「喚ぶ」is rarely used and rarely on people. In games, this word is often used on summoning spirits, animals, etc. E.g 影を喚ぶ、死神の喚ぶ声、風を喚ぶ乙女
=)

Okay thanks for the explanation!

So I guess for this statement, 「...僕の名を喚ぶ声」 it should be 呼ぶ instead of 喚ぶ since the context is for people.
