naked short sell penalty minimum $1k.

3k shares, for 5 pips after deduction of commission is less than sgd 120.

dunno why ppl ballot and sell for this kind of profit

Normally they will access Yr cdp account for 3 lots to complete the transaction. I guess u did not manage to ballot for the 3 lots u mentioned. Did u log in cdp to check before u sell.

Will go up may when yield become 4% or 4.5%. 4% is price $1.27. 4.5% is $1.13 per share. What I can say their big lessee is quite stable with them, instilling confident in investors maybe. Singapore shopping mall reits always above ipo price. Take a look at 313 u will have confident. Haha

If you are 100% sure you were allocated with 3,000 units (30 lots not 3 lots!) then just ignore.

I emphasis again - 100% sure.

Because if you are 100% sure, then it's normal for DBSV to say you 'owe' then 3,000 units.

Why? Because when you buy IPO, you got it directly from the issuer and not through DBSV.

So DBSV does not know you have 3,000 units. And when you sell 3,000 units through DBSV, they think you have short-sell and hence 'owe' them 3,000 units.

I always tell people to ignore those numbers in your DBSV account especially if you have multiple trading accounts.

The most important source is CDP. Always refers to CDP for your holdings and ignore everything else.

But frankly, if you have not even understood this very basic trading concept, do yourself a favour and educate yourself. Or else you should consider not trading at all.

Relax. Maybe he is too used to a custodian account and first time using a non-custodian one.

I also got a friend who is like that when he opened his first trading acc using CIMB custodian acc for local stocks.
