A rather sweeping statement this is?

Seriously, 2GB ram is okay depending on your usage. Somewhat of a no no for heavy (a lot of gaming + social apps usage concurrently) or impatient users but more than okay for an average user. Not everyone needs a 3-4gb ram phone or the best camera out there....
Also more RAM does not 100% = better. Sometimes it's the UI optimisation. For those who are using phones from manufacturers with famously lousy UIs, it becomes a Ram chase but in all honesty, the RAM will never be enough if the UI optimisation is flawed.
It all depend on individual user. After using two devices
both with 2GB Ram and one with a 3GB Ram, my personal
style and usage seems to opt for more Ram.
The devices are from Samsung while the the 3GB Ram
device is from LG. I have to abandon using the devices
with the 2GB Ram because it does not suit my styles of
using them. I don't play any games, just surf the Net,
no Facebook either, email, messages, photo editing and
I don't edit video at all, only still pictures of 5-mega pixels
only.
So, having a device with only 2GB Ram disregarding
the UI, is no use to me. But if Lenovo seems not willing
to put in more Ram, it is their problem and I am not
making a sweeping statement having used 2GB Ram
devices for a couple of months, I gave up.
