everything is neatly accessible or replaceable without the need to remove keyboard and/or etc.


sadly, it only comes with 1 x DIMM.

exactly no idea why they stop such an impressive notebook

Almost 2 years back since i bought it.

notebook @ $900+ comes with

i5, 4GB, Nvidia GT740M 2GB and weighs only 1.6KG..

no brainer.


Anyway Why HWZ DB keeps down?

of course I would prefer Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with Intel Realsense camera and 4K UHD touchscreen but the weight of 2.6kg would not be very portable for young children, maybe need a trolley bag~

I buy pro-support, the nbd fix is very good. The GPU broke down in the 3rd year, without pro-support, i will have to junk it away. Dell used to offer 5 years Pro support with accidental coverage for good price.

The Inspiron 15 7000 (7559) Pro Support for 3 years only $160 which is 8% more of the base price, the warranty value is too good to pass on. Which other laptop brand offers such complete coverage at low prices?

Seems like most people prefer the Dell Inspiron 24 7000 over Dell Inspiron 15 7000 or Dell Venue 8 7000.

their warranty one of the best in the market especially with accidental coverage warranty purchased. i think u can extend your warranty after purchase but at premium price(4yrs perhaps good enough?)

one thing good about dell is their laptop more easier to open up to diy change disk or ram easily just if there is any issue with the laptop need servicing just put back old parts in

True. Other manufacturer laptops need to remove everything including keyboard heatsink etc just to clean the fan. I prefer those where you can just take out the cover and remove a few screws and be done with it.

From the image of Dell Inspiron 15 7000 looks like only a few screws but the 2 fans really do really take up a huge chunk of space!

Hope that it can really provide powerful gaming performance.
