Its the same price, but you can opt for the FHD screen instead of the 4k UHD touchscreen. I dont know if this is an error and they have fixed it though.

Previously if you select the 2 other options and try to buy they will show some compatibility error. So now it simply just shows the 4k UHD touchscreen Black.

Those who want to get the red colour better check with them first before proceeding with your order.

Dun think we can opt FHD screen for Dell Inspiron 15 7000 but this FHD model is available and listed on Dell Malaysia website.

really not sure why they restricting us.

maybe Singapore market is too small Dell does not bother giving retail consumers much of a choice, just like some Dell Inspiron has Intel Realsense camera while some don't~

If any Dell representative see this thread, please give Singapore market more choices, else we will move on and support other brands that are cheaper with better specs

i read that its above average. i5 processor can tong 10 hours. i7 processor 7 hours.

Thats actually quite long battery life by my standards. i7 more powerful performance but also suck more battery juice. But thats on paper for the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 right?

Must do test with gaming and watching media to see real world numbers.

XPS ultrabook series~ if u willing to spend the amount for it while Dell Inspiron 15 series are their normal laptop range~ can be as cheap as 799

For the price of the warranty i think is pretty reasonable to get Dell Products. If i get the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 to upgrade from my Dell Vostro 5470 i will top up for additional Warranty too

Dell 3yrs warranty for Dell Inspiron laptop most value for money yet enough to cover your laptop usage for 3yrs. about 100bucks a yr cover parts faulty & accident damage. If your screen/motherboard faulty/broken when warranty end easily cost at least 200-300bucks just to repair it by them.

Maybe is due to this contest that they masked the price without Fhd for the dell inspiron 15 7000?

maybe Dell was discouraging consumers to get FHD for Dell Inspiron 15 7000 or Dell Inspiron 24 7000, since they had already assembled the laptop with 4K UHD touchscreen in China, Malaysia may just a warehouse storage for Asean market.

having FHD screen may had to special order made from China factory.

I suggest you all to make use of cloud storage in case of accidental damage. Warranty is to help you to get your Dell Inspirion 15 7000 laptop back in working condition only.

With Windows 10 and the new Microsoft Office 2016, they have Microsoft OneDrive preinstalled which in my option is a very good back up tool when used with MS Office. Same thing when your battery dies, even though you have long battery life

You can save your documents while working on them onto the cloud so in case your laptop dies on you, at least you can still retrieve the document from the cloud to continue working on it from another PC immediately while waiting for your laptop to be fixed. I'm not sure how Dell support works, but from my experience with other manufacturer, their usual stance is "reformat".

Does Dell gives free cloud storage if we bought Dell Inspiron 15 7000 or Dell Inspiron 24 7000 ?

For Microsoft OneDrive, does it only auto sync MS documents? What about auto sync Adobe documents or 5000 travel photos from camera folder or any scanned documents using our scanner into Microsoft Onedrive?

I thought is mainly how the CPU compute data. So Skylake will definitely be using power more efficiently than older generation processors regardless of the Windows OS, no?

Hannor Dell should consider providing more variety choices for Inspiron series and optional choices like with Realsense Camera or not. Consumers love to be pampered here

It will work with Windows 10 and Skylake 6 generation cpu only. It is a hardware feature of Skylake

In theory it should work well for laptop in giving the best performance in daily uses while conservative on the battery. Imagine before Skylake, you need 5 steps running before you can fly and 10 steps braking before you come to a halt.

With Dell latest products on Skylake, you can vertical take off and landing. You can reach your destination faster and save fuel on the extra 15 steps

For battery think need check with their CSO before purchase previously those Dell Inspiron laptop with removable battery even though you extend your warranty the battery still cover for 1st yr only

Inspiron 15 7000 has quad core 8 thread Skylake cpu. Generous amount of power for all who buys it, a big upgrade from older products at this price range

all laptop company include Dell warranty dont cover your data sad to say. personally i will prefer backup at home NAS or external hard disk at least it is more secured compare to cloud & faster to retrieve back.
