after that all rewards events are similar~ amount of actual prize ratio to how many ppl really take part :)

if next contest only got 3 big prizes only the crowd even lesser compare to contest have 20 small prizes even though both set of prizes SRP same or small prizes total SRP lesser~ hard truth you want ppl contribute you need motivation(prize) :)
Yeah the last Samsung SSD prizes are the best thus far. Even got 200 points also can redeem small gift. At least there's something for everyone.

But i think apart from monetary motivation, organiser should amend the system (as pointed out by somebody else earlier, i can't remember) away from the timing based point system to ensure fairer participation. With that, even if they offer lesser prizes, more people will participate.

I believe because different people are having different usages, so thermal requirements can vary much. Light users may only use it for just word processing, watch videos, surf web, whereas others may want to heavy multitask like those stock market analysts, or media professionals who needs the ultra high resolution screen for editing photos that requires heavy processing power.

Either or, i don't think XPS is a flawed product, in heating aspect, since we also don't see major product recall for their XPS line.

That is true. If you run your processor all the time at max clock speed for long durations, surely the heat will be different to another user who runs it on power saver mode.

I believe Dell would test and design their systems to provide effective cooling. If a recall were to occur, it will most definitely severely damage Dell's reputation on providing good and reliable PCs.

I also notice a lot of companies buy their PC from Dell probably due to it being affordable and reliable.

Actually i really find it a good exercise to force myself to learn more out of a product. For this XPS 13 i can really learn the pros and cons and inform my brother-in-law shall he really be considering it. :)
this event still okay many dell products to talk about~ if like previous Samsung SSD thumbdrive will be quite repetitive. Everyday everyone talk about same thing/feature

True. Better to have more smaller rewards. This is because people will fall out knowing that they won't be able to redeem the prize. If there were more small prizes, there is some incentive for them to continue participating to redeem the lower tier prizes.

As for timing based point system i believe quite acceptable(i dont post early too for this event) if you set like 12midnite reset timing to earn pts again for the day, all will flooded in at 12midnite earn their pts than rest of the day will be little post(reflected in this event too the peak period got the most post is when people hit their 24hrs timing to post new post get new points)

maybe you can suggest a better method?

You all like the videos is it? Feedback also leh. HAHAHA.

At least we can do this a little more often it is engaging and entertaining at the same time.

the videos hardly show anything. kinda vague and alot of guesswork. maybe the videos in future should show some demo of the products by the marketing team.

I like the fact that Dell XPS 13 is able to squeeze in a single fan for active cooling despite its record thin profile, but it also seemingly to be heavily inspired from MBA.. :s22:

Dell XPS 13
Dell-XPS-13-9343-2015-disassembly.jpg

MacBook Air
13.06.12-MBA_Teardown.jpg

Comparing both of them, Dell xps13 has a long stripes of vents across the fan area which will help cooling some.

I think ultrabook cooling is dedicated affairs between fan whine and throttled performance.

i tried the sample set of Dell Venue 8, the Intel Realsense camera here like no auto focus and the picture taken was quite grainy like lousy webcam.
