Why not ask them change top prize to Dell Inspiron 23 7000 and Inspiron 15 5548 model, so that the winner can test their RealSense Camera Technology. :s12: lol. I must be dreaming ...=:p

Then that will be crazier in budget than Samsung and LG combined! :s13:

But I say, that's the best way for us to try out the Intel RealSense Camera using RealSense Technology.

The Intel RealSense 3D camera only does facial recognition right? No iris scanner and fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello login?

Nah don't think so. The Intel RealSense Camera using RealSense Technology only have infrared. Iris might be possible since got 3D

Intel RealSense Camera should be compatible with both hardwares.

The software base right?

The Inspiron 24 7000 AIO is Dell’s thinnest 23.8” all-in-one desktop with 3D Camera and Intel® RealSense™ technology which enables Gesture Gaming, 3D scanning and also works with Windows Hello. Showing off optimum clarity with its vibrant 23.8” Full HD wide-view display with IPS technology, it makes for brilliant visuals and high-quality video streaming from every angle.

The Dell Inspirion 24 7000 AIO looks ultra thin and stylish!

Is the CPU and motherboard located in the base of the monitor stand?

The specs are very decent too, in addition to the realsense camera, it comes with a quad core i7 6700HQ and 16GB DDR4, 32GB SSD cache.

It is a major specs upgrade from their previous generation Inspirion with just an additional $250! It is worth it if you are looking for an AIO for your family members and the very strong Dell next day warranty support. I will buy their 3 years pro support and call it a day.

The next step, i like to see them introduce a WQHD screen upgrade option.

The only cons here is we are not to DIY upgrade Dell Inspirion 24 7000 AIO.

The better option is replace HDD with SSD. :)

Seems like Intel RealSense is good for gaming from short distance from the monitor.

I can see it will be good for games like Candy Crush for my parents. The next step to see Dell integrate realsense into their ultrasharp monitor. This can give them a marketing edge against their competitors.

It is still a quad core and hyper-threading capable processor, just lower boost clocks from the smaller peak tdp. It is plenty sufficient for these days and an AIO. Before Skylake, plenty of laptops use dual cores with U model, I see Skylake as a nice move upwards for mobile PC. :D

guess they had to sacrifice specs for the sake of slim and stylish..

seems like fanless design too. hence the smaller tdp components
