I think gonna take a little while more.
Touchscreens are intuitive, Mouse and keyboards are here for a really long time so we're kind of used to it.
Gestures wise, it is not as intuitive and there will bound to be alot of inaccuracies (and weird things we have to do) due to interpretation of the computer. (Like how vocal recognition, is often inaccurate due to different accents/sound waves). Maybe personalised calibration is required for better utilisation?
While immersion is the ultimate goal, is still quite far off.
(Or Maybe we won't need to use our bodies even in the future; just control wih or brains. Think Hawkings)
