:s13:

Im just joking haha.

But real consumer uses are what i mentioned, as well as taking photo with depth of field etc.

i think LG phone have the laser part quite similar to the Intel® RealSense™ Camera but probably less effective, since the Intel one can measure distance accurately
I think its a useful feature to measure height of people in full portrait mode....

one thing about gesture control and gesture gaming... they haven't fixed the gorilla arms syndrome... :s22:

try holding up your arms for extended period of time...

holding arms for extended period will cause health hazard anot in long term?

can use dell Inspiron 24 7000 ultra thin stylish and thinnest 23.8" all-in-one desktop with Intel realsense camera to accentuate any room in the house

Forging best of both worlds for Intel RealSense 3D and Augmented Reality:

The hardware hacking team from TNG Technology Consulting GmbH started to work on a device which is capable to do full field of view augmented reality in March 2015 when the company’s winter retreat was taking place.

The mobile “TNG Augmented Rift” is a full field of view Augmented Reality device capable to do e.g. face tracking, face identification, emotion detection, heart rate detection, distance measurements, etc. Speech recognition for command and control is implemented as well.

The Augmented Rift consists of two cameras for recording the real world. The information gets streamed into the Oculus Rift DK2. The Intel RealSense F200 is used to add features like face tracking, face identification, pulse detection and much more.

The Intel RealSense detector uses an F200 3D camera that can be used for realizing the features mentioned above (near field face tracking, face identification, face landmark detection and tracking, emotion detection a.s.o.). All the Augmented Reality elements we gather are added to our stereo webcam capture to enrich the real world environment capture with useful information.

The video shows that the person is using a Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense Camera to game.

His probably in control with the game that he is playing and take charge with boundless imagination.

It shows how future gaming could be that intuitive and innovative it can be. It can also be a form of allowing users do more than just what a regular pc can do.

he can also be scanning 3D objects or moving the screen with the Intel RealSense Camera using RealSense Technology.

i think gorilla arms is those wrestler type of arms. for Dell Inspiron 24 7000, it might not be suitable for these type of people cos they might damage something with their strength if they become frustrated at the touch screen or 22 tracking points.
