But there isn't any option to change HDD to SSD in the Dell Inspiron 24 7000 AIO link...![]()
Things have only just gotten under way at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco and the company’s RealSense depth-sensing camera technology has already emerged as the most important technology at the show.
In years past, Intel would work up the crowd with a glimpse of its next chips for PCs and servers. But with Moore’s Law stumbling and the action in computing shifting to robots and the Internet of Things, the chip maker has more important things to emphasize.
In his opening keynote Tuesday morning, CEO Brian Krzanich showed how the computer vision enabled by RealSense can be used in all kinds of applications, ranging from robots to computer games to vending machines that interact with the people around them.
Jokes aside, there should be a market for entertainment scenes if realsense technology take off well. Coupled with virtual reality, the clubbing scenes will probably offer more than just flashing spotlight/laser.
The realsense camera probably can have a market in land surveying equipment too.

All-in-one so ultra thin got any usefulness?

Interesting to see that they can use it even on robots! Looks like there are even more applications to use it.
how many working robots?? so far only prototype with Intel RealSense 3D camera.
Can DIY change the HDD to SSD in Dell Inspiron 24 7000.
The options are usually marked up in price.
So far mostly prototype. But nevertheless it is cool as at least we can even give commands to them via gestures. Also we could actually put it to good use in future lets say domestic helpers could be robotics at home. It can also help to improve lives, and especially aging population, can take good care of the elderly.
Me as well...
Me, Mockingjay and Nakedtoes got minus points last event remember?![]()
wonder who is the oem to manufacturer those sensors in the Realsense Camera
Haha...wonder if those big stores like Best Denki or Challenger got any demo set to play with.![]()
Maybe Intel makes their own chipsets etc for the Intel RealSense Camera and code for RealSense Technology? Afterall their (processor) chipsets are made by them right?
We prolly look like some idiots at store if we play with the Intel RealSense Camera using RealSense Technology laptops/camera/equipment
