With Microsoft paring down support for kinnect after its poor reception in xbox1, Dell and Intel can work together with Microsoft to make realsense a direct xinput standard and open the technology to everyone, we can get Logitech and Asus to sell realsense peripherals.

At present the technology is infancy, but with wider adoption of motion sensing, vr and hologram, 10 years later, we can have Tony Starks interface and wonder how did we live through the keyboard and mouse years

imo, if proven that the Intel RealSense js really superior, Microsoft should adapt this technology really quickly to not lose out in the market

Intel realsense isn't a collaboration between them and Dell. I believe Intel wants to make them proprietary and earn royalties from devices manufactured by others. Intel doesn't like to be open...

then it is will not be adapt as strongly as apple / android wouldn't they limit their own chances?

i prefer to see independent reviews of such products

Does the 32GB SSD cache for the Dell Inspirion 24 7000 store the entire OS ?
I have a 32GB Windows 8.1 tablet and only have a few GB of free space left.

Cache i think is for cache SSD. Your workhorse wil still mainly be the 1TB

Dun really agree on this, if the older folks that have shaky hands or poorer eyesight, how they gonna to use Intel RealSense Camera to control or play the games.

Seems like most of the ports, hdd etc are at the base? I thought like most AIO, all are on the monitor frame. Will be good if the base is detachable, imagine if the monitor spoilt, still can connect to another monitor or connect another cpu if the cpu spoilt?

but if its on OS then it's the best possible configuration.. but I guess Windows 10 bootup is pretty fast enough even if on HDD

Wow, look like effortless to change the background so much easy then using photoshop. Only thing is whether can it make the object blend into the background as it seems quite fake.

bad point is you will have cable tangling from monitor to base.. if everyhting is on the frame
