This Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen if gaming will use alot of power so it will be less than 8 hours. Gaming best is use Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense 3D Camera using Intel RealSense Technology.

Less than 4 hours perhaps...

For gaming, I will pick Dell Inspiron 15 7000 over Dell Inspiron 24 7000 as its hardware configuration is better, beside that the 4K UHD display also a plus for gaming.

Well, use while charging is not good to the battery, this like make battery become a conductor to transfer the charge instead of storing....this practice also caused the battery become hotter......May be my understanding is wrong..

I use Dell Precision for almost 4 years and counting more. It allows me to upgrade ram and ssd by taking off some screws. It is still working so you can say it is long lasting. The gpu did break down twice, but a call to Dell, the next day they come down and replace with a working one.

I will only buy Dell and their pro support for my work laptop, as I cannot afford the down time.

like that isn't so long lasting le.. if no more warranty means have to pay a premium to repair since laptop servicing doesn't come cheap have to agree their next day support is good

For those interested to buy the previous promo video's Dell Inspiron 24 7000 , here is the pros & cons which i compiled from website review them

Pros:
Great-looking IPS display
Responsive touch-screen capabilities
Intel RealSense 3D camera

Cons:
Mediocre graphics performance
HDD instead of SSD
Pricey

The list of games currently supported by Intel RealSense does not seem to appeal to the serious gamer.

Dell Inspiron i5 7000 is an ultra portable with such good battery life but Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is 2.6kg is consider lightweight or heavy weight?

Dell Inspiron i5 7000 is not really a ultra portable... My portable is less than 1.5KG... Even with Intel RealSense 3D camera using RealSense Technology or 'good battery life', so heavy also lazy lug around lor

but actually still not much development in the 4k scene right? i watched some 4k videos, damn power, got foreground and background feel. was hoping to see dramas and movies in 4k, but previously went to google on it, like no one really keen to do it, cause of the price and uncertainty. think now only got 1 drama doing 4k right? issit house of cards? cant remember.

so actually the display on the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 like not really a plus factor. as in not the luring factor.

Nope. I am using 4K display on my Asus ultrabook now, but when play FHD videos... Like not shuang vs my FHD Asus laptop... I think the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 will be similar effect for me

I concur wthis, anything that more than 1.5 kgs is not easy to carry around for whole day, somemore this Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is above 2.5 kgs.

Very nice build.. sub-1" thin aluminum laptop. Normally laptops all plastic one (except macbook).

not to mention the graphics is Nvidia GTX960M 4GB GDDR5 discrete, sure to make gaming more enjoyable

and the keyboard has backlight too! too bad only 1TB Hybrid HDD + 8GB cache.. maybe it has the ability to add mSATA SSD

gaming wise definitely Inspiron 15 7000 will be better than Inspiron 24 7000 since the latter is an AIO and using 940M 4GB GDDR3 graphics (compared to Inspiron 15 7000 with GTX960M graphics)
