For me, no need to consider at all. 5.5" no way. .. though i agree Flex is a beauty.

Looking at the marketing strategy, some may get the Flex
because of the Lollipop upgrade, but when it is time for the
big surprise to surface for Pro 2, don't regret for spending
that extra. Patience has its virtue!

Yes. It was released in Feb last year!

G Pro 3 or G4 Plus Size or Up Size or whatever LG wanna call it. LG has better releases a 5.9" variants.

Look at the stubborn policy of iPhone, it still has to melt
down while Samsung and the rest are having bigger
and bigger screen. Finally Apple was shocked that
their profits went sky high after introducing the iPhone 6
& the iPhone 6 Plus.

For sure you will never want to go back to the smaller
screen unless you are also stubborn and egoistic
about operating the phone with one hand because of
your hand size.

Probably if Sony and Samsung have been ahead into
the 6 inch platform, LG won't disappoint all the loyal
supporters with a few different models very soon.
It is a waste and a bit extravagant to change a high-end
phone in less than a year of usage unless you belong
to the weak wannabe of financial management.

Actually, I'm very patience to wait for the next LG model that can replace my Pro 2.

Since I started using thia Pro 2 a year ago, there is simply no new model that worth the replacement up until now. LG UI has been awesome and smooth.

The fact is, Pro 2 is still running very well and speedy. With the upcoming Lollipop, Pro 2 will be able to extent its life further for me to enjoy a huge screen and speedy phablet.

I started with Pro 1 in 2013, upgraded to Pro 2 in 2014. Imagine that.

So, no hurry for me.

I simply agree with you to just wait. Get a new battery from LG , we can renew the life of Pro2. May not be possible for phones with built-in batteries. Batteries got limited lifespan n also not cheap to replace .

There is one good reason for manufacturers to discard
battery replacement with some of their models: shorter
lifespan of the phone, so users have to get another phone,
in return more profits for the manufacturer.

LG has proven successfully that not all high price
phone out there in the market are of better specs and
better performance with reputation of their Pro 2.
So the next replacement for Pro 2 will see all rushing
to get one especially those from other camps.

True. Pro 2 is the best now. I even ditch G3 to get Pro 2 which has smoother interface! Also dont understand why people still using Notes instead of G Pro 2. hahaha!

Couldn't we be making a mistake for choosing the Pro 2 with
our combined experiences of using the other models from the
competitors?

Spending two months in April and May 2014 scanning this
forum page by page for information on the best value for
money high end phone has its worth many many times.
I was not pleased with Samsung method of producing
the Notes series jumping from Note One to Four in such
short period of time and in between with the super size
Mega without much success.

The Pro 2 is smooth, fast, no lagging at all, a high end
camera that surprised photographers in low light situation
and with it Knock Knock thingy without having to press
the buttons on the sides are the winning points that won
me to get the phone.

Moreover, we never want to admit it will be replacing
the 7" and the 8" tablets for having two Pro 2 in my
pockets is certainly a much added advantage of having
only one tablet whenever I needed two units to work
together at the same time. Pro 2 wan sui...wan sui.

I gave up Samsung series due to amoled screen. Cannot stand the strong black tint.

Exactly the reason for G3 users to keep chasing the G series
with now the G4 up in heaven but will be on earth sooner
than expected.

After a couple of months they will then realized you are
more intelligent to ditch G3 and go for the Pro 2.
