LG G Pro 2

My LG G Pro 2 keeps restarting since yesterday. It was still able to boot normally once in a while but today it just keeps restarting.

I need help to retrieve what is on the system memory.

The same problem came to my phone just three days ago.
I tried to restart and even remove battery and put it back again
but the result is the same. The phone also just freeze dead
with nothing on the screen.

Finally I change to the spare battery and everything back to
normal again. So it is very important to have a fresh spare
battery.

Does anyone know where I can buy a spare battery? Seemed like my G Pro 2 is facing a dead battery issue, because it could only stay on when plugged in and would keep restarting otherwise

Seems I have the same problem. Keeps re-starting. Once I plug into the charger than can start normally.

Will need to get a new battery tomorrow.

Yes!

After 2.5 years, my 1st original battery is fading and draining faster than I think even without using it.

I have another 2 spare batteries to back it up!

However, I haven't encountered any phone restart/reboot issue so far with my 1st original battery or the other 2 spare batteries yet! Touchwood!!!

Having drifting away to Redmi Note 3 for the past 2.5 months, LG G Pro 2 huge 6" screen is still the best for game plays and video watching! No doubt about it!

Having said the good about LG G Pro 2, I have to admit that the LG UI is slow and laggy compared to MIUI on Redmi Note 3!

Therefore, unfortunately I have to keep my LG G Pro 2 as a backup phone and really under utilised it since then and that the Redmi Note 3 is my primary phone now.

It has been a good 2.5 years here with LG G Pro 2! See you guys! Bye!

Bought an unbranded battery from rochor centre $18. Problem solved.

Update : so far so good. Fingers crossed.

Can also plug in power bank to check before getting a new battery

my gpro 2 is restarting all the time (the lg logo keeps repeating) it can only work as normal when i charge it from the wall socket. it appears that my batt needs a change!

Second floor of rochor centre. It's across from the staircase. The shop nearest the staircase doesn't have the battery model.

They supposed to be moving. Don't know the date. Can check in sim LIM tower also.

oh no...i didnt read this thread. my phone encountered the bootloop problem yest. out of a sudden the problem came. at 1st plugging in doesnt help. so i jus remove batt n waited for a while. after ard 2 hrs, i tried to on while plugged in, it came to life. but will bootloop once plug is off. so i did the dreaded factory reset. damn! shouldnt hv done that. i hate factory reset. will try to get a new batt later.

Just do a backup via LG backup once your phone is back to life, at least 80-90% of your settings can be saved.

Restore it after hard reset.

yeah i managed to do lg backup to my sd card. hopefully it can b restored properly. last factory reset i did, somehow didnt restore properly. a lot of lost data. searched high n low for the batt in rochor cr, sim lim tower, sim lim sq, burlington.....all no batt for this phone. sian...

The original battery from LG service center costs S$40.
Got one for wife's phone.
Still a decent performer with the Snapdragon 800 and 3G RAM.
The camera beats anyphone under S$400 now.

Next upgrade might be LG V20 or Samsung Note 8..

I upgraded from LG G2 to S7 Edge.
If the G2 had removable battery and 3G Ram, I would not have it replaced..

Yesterday my notification no sound at all. SMS or carousell receive, don have any sound out. Checked notification setting, put to highest ardy. Still no sound. But call have sound. Any advise?
