I will just wait till the 3rd gen G Pro is released before changing phones. As of now the only major improvement I can see in the G Pro 2 is just the camera which I don't really care much about. Ram and processor it's the usual next gen upgrades.

The Singaporean one is cheaper...and it has the same features now.
(Korea non-contract price is near 1100 SGD!)
Back cover is removable + SD card unlike G2.
Wait until Singaporean version comes out on the 29th.

I'm considering to get LG G PRO 2, its price is very attractive comparing with notes3. I never use LG phone before, but people told me LG phone quality is not so good and it is not lasting. not sure it is true.

just want to hear more from current LG users.

No. LG phones are good now especially since the G Series. Else, Google wouldn't have allow LG to.produce Nexus phones.

We know that LG phones were bad many years back but not now.

G Pro was a good phone. LG G2 is famous and good.

The G Pro 2 will be an awesome phone especially the 5.9" LCD screen and the OIS+ camera.

one downside that may or not matter to you is that LG sucks at updating their phones but other than that build quality almost same as samsung

How is custom rom for LG? is there a lot?

I'm using Samsung now, plenty of choices for custom rom for me to choose..

Nope,lg custom roms not as much choice as samsung or even htc. Samsung still most popular for devs.
Go xda for g2 and g pro forum u can see.

From what I observed, it seems kitkat is the culprit for lower batt life.

My G2 used to have superb batt life with 5 hrs screen on time and no batt drop at all for 8hrs on standby.

Since upgraded to KitKat, even with newly bought batteries (mine is korean G2), my standby time is very bad. I can have 10-20% drop when standby and screen on time nowadays barely reach 3hrs.

The phone is also more laggy than before.

I find sometimes upgrading OS makes the phone even worst than when its just launched. Can anyone know how to revert back to stock 4.2.2?
