screen cracked. how much would LG charge for replacement? warranty ending in a month plus, but i know it doesnt cover screen damage.

Find a used set in bazaar, may be can get for just between $200-$300. :)

Did you paste any sp? Screen is most expensive to replace. And not so easy to get it done elsewhere. Esp Pro2.:(

A good precaution to take is to have a really good quality
Screen Protector and a rubber or leather casing.

To prevent future accident, example in the case of dropping the
device onto the hard material floor I went around hunting for
accessories that I can hold on to, so that it will not slip from
my hand so easily. This is the accessory that can help in a
way or another, but I don't know about others, who may have
other ideas.

LG has stopped producing Pro 2 since December 2014 and the supply for local warranty sets has stopped too. No more stock! :s8:

There are unique reasons for LG to stopped producing the
Pro 2 when they saw the G3 is selling like hot cakes.

The sales of Pro 2 was poor, due to reasons we all know.,
even though the device itself is of a quality matching those
high end models from the other competitors.

At the same time LG felt that they should continue marketing
their Flex devices which was the company first kind of
innovation never seem before in the mobile phone arena.

Yeah! LG is listening to the consumers, though they maybe
behind for a while, the lag won't be for too long as the
one big brother Xiaomi could be an inspiration to bang their
bucks on more creative innovations to ensure life is better
for all who trusted their products. :)

seem like no shop sell new LG G pro 2. Is LG G pro 3 coming soon?

Established Manufacturers including the new boy in the
game have finally come down to realize that it will be a bright
path financially to go down the mobile narrow strip instead of
concentrating on something similar to Google glass. :s13:

Household products like TV, Washing machine, camera etc.,
most people buy once and it will be a long time before
changing to a new one.

But for personal product like the mobile phone, imagine
what it takes the manufacturer to know that almost every
individual will change in less than 18 months. So for sure
the Pro 3 is on the way. :s22:

first mobile device and what is the model that was
being launched at that time? :s11:

Why look at the past? LG was always known for mediocrity. It started from the Nexus onwards when it began to make good decent value for money mobile phones.

I rather look towards the upcoming G4. ☺

Not to look at the pass is the current worldly wisdom,
why are the educational institutions learning about History?
Why are newspaper digging into the past of records of
success?

LG did not have the foresight that the mobile phone is
going to be the future of financial success for the company
until the American giant Google produced Nexus.

But did the American has the technology to produce the
entire mobile phone by itself? Who did it work together with?

LG defianately have the ability to suppress Samsung..

It was in 2007 that Samsung became the second largest
mobile device manufacturer in the world after Nokia.

Where was LG at that time since they started having their
first digital phone in 1997?

Nokia was the King of the mobile world because everyone
was using their phones in the earlier days. But now they
are gone even though the Americans bought over the
company.

We will see the battle between Samsung and LG without
pushing away China's Xiaomi because the late boy only
took three years from nothing to make all the phone
manufacturers be aware of their marketing strategy.

LG should concentrate and really focus on their mobile
devices as the needs of the users are different in different
countries. Too many moderately price models could be
a waste of resources.
