Is there a new software V20b-L? I connect via LG PC Suite and there was a new software update, version v20b-L. There were 2 upgrades in the new version. After the first upgrade, the phone keep restarting itself. Even after the second upgrade, the phone juz keep restarting itself. This happens even after i took out the battery. It keeps restarting at the LG logo screen.
In the end, i reconnect the phone and connect via LGMobile Support Tool. I did a upgrade recovery and everything is back to normal now.

Can anyone check if there is a new firmwareversion, V20b-L?
Anyone upgraded to it? Anyone can advise?

I've already on v20b Lollipop. The new version shows v20b-L and there were 2 upgrades.

Did you try connecting and see the version?

I did not update to V20b because I am waiting for Google to fix the memory leak bug on Lollipop first.

Any idea why it got into bootloop? Luckily can do a upgrade recovery thru LGMobile Support Tool. If not, have to make a trip down to LG service centre liao...

mine is the corporate plan, they cannot process my recontract T_T

Dunno about ST/M1, I am on Corp plan for SH.
Need to call them and tell them u like to re-contract Corp plan online and they can process.
Extra-effort, but can be done.
You can try calling them to check.

I have re-contract online for SH last Oct to enjoy the $80 online discount + freebies.

If bootloop, just boot into recovery and wipe data/cache/dalvik. It should boot up normally after that already.

How do you boot into recovery and wipe data/cache/dalvik? What button to press? After booting up normally already, do i need to install anything?

yaaay guys I got my black g3 from a SingTel shop today!! thank you for the advice.

I need a lil more help regarding the lollipop update. is it wise to hold off updating for now and stick to the stock kitkat? been hearing so many horror stories of lollipop having issues and I have experienced frequent app crashing on my lollipop nexus 4. want to rollback also too late liao.

should I update soon or wait for more patches to roll out first ah?
