Any idea why it got into bootloop? Luckily can do a upgrade recovery thru LGMobile Support Tool. If not, have to make a trip down to LG service centre liao...
Kena bootloop and went to customer service centre

Was told that the local version is v20b the rest are international and may not be suitable to local set.

Best is to use ota.

Hi All,
Just to check, I have been having problems with my watsapp video download after the lollipop upgrade. It seems that all videos downloaded via watsapp, the sound quality is muffled and poor. Is anyone experiencing this too?

Upgraded to Lollipop v20b via PC suite. As mentione by many others, the battery drains a lot faster. On KK I can survive until 8-9pm with around 20% left. Just today I reached 16% by 5.30pm (with only 2.5 hours of SOT. I used to get minimum of 4 hours on KK).

Charging is also slower. I monitored it with battery monitor widget.

I did a factory reset after the update as suggested by many users here.

So far I did not see any advantages in upgrading to Lollipop (at least for me).

will the upgrade to lollipop remove root?

the official v20b will remove root, and it is UNROOTABLE.

for now, you need to install bumped ROMS from XDA if you wish to be rooted on lollipop.

i noticed the slow charging too... i use battery monitor too.
i only notice the slow charging when the battery is more than 90%.

when it is below 90%, with screen off, i get 800+ mA charging current.
what about you?

based on the responses in this thread, i'd rather not install man. Personal opinion la, cos now quite happy with the phone, battery life, etc. If not broken don't change it.

I don't have the charging problem but do have 1 issue. When Battery is fully charged, the phone will remind you about the Battery is full with Vibration, Sound and Screen light up. Sometime it happens continuously for a few time in a row. It will keeps reminding in a few interval...This happen in the middle of the night and its very annoying...do you have issue?

In KK, I get 800+mA charging current also. After Lollipop, I only get around 250 mA, regardless of the current battery level.

I've tried using another LG charger+cable, also same result. Meanwhile my HTC E8 still get 800+ mA using those LG chargers.

Go Settings -> Sound -> Notifications -> Lock Screen
set to "Hide all notifications"

or go to Apps to turn off notifications for individual apps

But if u into rooting and stuff, then i guessed u can do it the unofficial way ba...
