Just sent my G3 for free warranty-covered hairline crack top panel replacement. And the LG service guy recommended me to update to Firmware Kitkat 10k instead of Lollipop because he said Lollipop lags the phone too much as not many apps are ready for Lollipop yet. So wait until stable then update. So I trusted him and hope for the best!

The LG service guy said he will flash it for me after fixing the hairline crack.

He told me that kitkat 10k will solve the autoshutdown problem, maybe LG Singapore do not have kitkat 10l, 10m, 10n & 10o and straight go to Lollipop from 10k?

Mine sent in on Wednesday, collected on Saturday. So far so good, firmware Kitkat 10k looks good and stable.

I'm using Nova Free, but the latest update has a docking bug on my G3, the home touch button sometimes screws up the dock.

Used computer lg software it kept showing there is firmware update. But stuck at 49%

And the double tap to on the screen seems not very responsive.
