The fact is, glass SP price has dropped significantly and is now quite comparable to traditional SP in terms of $. I was also not convince on the need for glass SP, but since price is so affordable now, so gave it a try lor.

Yes, most switch becos can get it at less than $10 at Qoo10. Not sure though, how they fare as compared to those expensive ones.:)

I'm considering between HTC One M8 and LG G3. They have different pros and cons however, I am worried of the slow update on all LG phones including the flagship models.

As long as the phone is stable, I dun need frequent updates. Note 3 has frequent updates, but some updates cause the phone to misbehavior, so it defeats the purpose of updating.

It depends on the angle the phone was dropped. It's not going to always protect your screen if you drop the phone at certain angles.

sometimes, when it's time to go, no amount of protection can save you

You are right man. If phone doing fine, no lag, who cares about updates. Updates may be a nuisance if useless.

Yea man I agree with you. Don't fix it if it ain't broken. Read on XDA that when G2 updated to KitKat also got many problems initially.
