No particular reason actually. Just tot of trying the TBox first. Since then, quite happy with it. How's ur experience with the GB? Tried the TBox to compare them?

Can you please remove your glove first?

cant really comment i feel. tried TBox but without paying, options are limited and it does pretty much the same as GB. not sure if there's any G3 specific tweaks tho. btw, is there a "backup settings" option in TBox?

Dude, what's "cai yi ling, 72 bian"? Not everyone behind the PC is a Chinese mann.

One peeve I have with G3 is that it keeps repeatedly notifying that the battery is fully charged and I have to unplug to save energy. How to get rid of this without rooting?

Seem to have lost the ability to use the retro TV screen off after the recent update. It is fading even though I selected retro TV. Anyone else with the same issue?

Use the LG PC Suite. It will update the FW and then you will need to root again, install supersu and xposed.

Realised its the developer options (turning off animation) that is the cause of the issue. Switching developer option off and rebooting 'resolved' the issue.

did you use OTA or wired? why like that! hahaha. do u have dpi changer or something?

Try using LG PC Suite? Wired method.

im going to revert my DPI to see if that works with OTA. if not, i will just go home to use LG PC Suite. Thanks for bringing that up, i forgot about it.

just reverted my DPI to original 640 and now i can update with towelroot method!

OTA. No dpi changer.

Before your can accept OTA, you have to make sure none of the system files are modified or replaced. Since you change the DPI, that should be the main culprit

Some people just does not want to read what is already posted. They just want others to reply to their queries. This generates a lot of repeated posts and is only creating more confusion. :(

Downgrade back to 10b

I just updated the firmware to 10e. Is that possible for me to downgrade back to 10b? (no root)

Any reason why you want to do that?

I don't think you can uninstall the update, will have to flash the other older FW.
