Strangely the amazon store app and the amazon app store app both don't appear in my google app store search. Had to install as an apk.

same issue as u. cant find UP by jawbone and photofy in play store on g3 but can find it on my Oneplus. havent researched for fixes but i will try to side load the new play store

Thanks bro. I managed to update the firmware to 10G via LG PC Suite, re-rooted with purpledrake-lite, uninstall all LG apps, change dpi to 540, tweaked via Tweaksbox and good to go now. Speed is definitely faster, snappier than before, especially show running apps. SOT is also better.

You can backup wechat messages to Tencent's cloud, IIRC it will remain there for 1 week before gets deleted.

I'm using ROM Toolbox Pro. I think any tools will do as long as it can change the ro.sf.lcd_density parameter in build.prop.

not true. my last sony z1 had an overheating issue. this phone only heats up when i play hayday or surf for 1 hour ++

No, it is not just dpi issue. Mine version 10b, did not change dpi but towelroot rooted. Update to 10e got the error the the phone is rooted.

there are apps that increase the entropy to 4096 without using custom roms.
