Think may have found the Apps that cause the battery drain...

Go to Setting -> Mobile Data -> click in and found OCBC drawing the most data usage...was surprised because did not use the OCBC apps for long time...so now fully uninstall the OCBC Apps and see whether any improvement on the battery drain problem....
Why don't use Greenify to kill unwanted apps running in the background

A while ago, I posted about compatibility of Anker 5 port chargers, cables, with the LG G3.

Just laid my hands on the 6 port speedy charger. This charger will charge the G3 at the following speed;

Docomo data/charge cable ~1.4A
Xiaomi cable (purchased from XM site) ~1.3A
Thecoopidea cable ~1.3A.

Beats the 0.9A of the Anker.

so the usb cable affects the speed too? any idea the original LG cable speed compared to the others?

Yes. USB cable will affect the speed.

Interestingly, a short and cheapo 2 in 1 cable (android/apple) pairs well with the Anker and G3, ~1.2+A but does worse off with Speedy. About ~1.1A.

The best cable is still the Docomo.

Can't find the original cable to test lol.

My original lg g3 cable charges my tablet at 1.65A but it only charges my phone at around 1.2A

The original cable seems good to me but I am just surprised that topgun can charge at 1.4A.

But I am using some third party rom though. My readings is from the blue color charger doctor dongle thingy.

Anyway anyone charging at 1.65A for anything yet?

Can check if the charger feels really really hot that you cannot hold it?

Both my mipad charger and my LG charger felt really hot to the touch when my mipad is charged by it at 1.65A. The blue charger doctor dongle usb port was extremely hot that you cannot even touch it for more than one second.

Really? Thank God!

I bought it yesterday in Dubai. And it wasn't from an LG store. The seller claimed its original, but i wasn't ready to believe him.

I needed a battery urgently though.

i have the same battery and it performs the same as the one that came with my phone. got it from qoo10

Take your original battery and check it against the one that you have. Look at the metal contacts (find the black dots on your original battery) and the cut edges on the top edge of the battery. Quite easy to tell if it is a low-end copy.
Thank you. They do look the same, so i will just base it on my experiences in the coming weeks.

Has anyone experience leaking of a new battery on a one year old LG G3? No matter what i do, battery leaks like crazy.
Any suggestion of having the battery works better? Like rooting (i dunno anything about rooting).
I dun find a need to change a new phone as i still like this phone alot unless the battery proves to be useless then no choice have to change.
Pls advise.
