I recontracted. When I reserved my set online, was able to choose from various starhub outlets and timings to collect my handset. Strangely, I didn't see any home delivery option.

My issue is that, am just days away from launch to Re-Contract. So I made request for Starhub to Extend the Pre-Order to me. They allowed. Called me to inform and told me is Home Delivery...

Hmm seems like it is a common issue with the heat.. Any solutions for that? Abit worried that it might someday explode while charging

Same same. But my recontract date was MORE than days away and was told penalty of $200 was imminent but after hard nego, they finally waived off. Delivery set to today afternoon with all the freebies + a little more. Divorcing singtel and marrying starhub was the right thing for me.

I think its the phone that heats up, not the battery. When installing apps and such, it tends to heat up, especially the camera and the screen. Fortunately because of the leather back, it feels fine in the hand.

Anyway, gotta say I am impress with the battery for now. Overnight, I stopped charging around 10 pm, and I had to restart my phone a couple of times after that due to encryption. This morning when I got up to check, its still a healthy 97%. My Z3 Compact would have lost at least 9% battery overnight. But it remains to be seen, how well will the battery last over time, andas we install more applications. I feel that one of the problem for Android vs iOS is the background app sapping the battery faster. So the more apps you have, and depending on what kindda apps, the faster the drop. Not sure if anyone have the same kind of experience.

Gotta face the fact, what is hot vs what is warm.

If its burns at the touch and u have to ket go, thats hot.

If it is stil nice and toasty in hand then its warm.

The processors in our phones these days are pretty powerful and have a cooled passively throught the chassis, there isn't any miracle whereby the heat will magicallly disappear when in use. Power is transformed from one form into another,in this case...heat!


So lets chill bros, dont be too paranoid unkess ur phone is too hot to handle.

I bought it from a shop at Burlington square named mobile hardware as I saw they had post they have glass. The shop help me to paste. Is quite worth I feel.. as I only pay $15 after like their Facebook page while before that I'm still considering buying from qoo10.

Anyway i do find it gets warm sometimes after a period of usage but its nothing to be of concerned since i find my old m8 and s5 also feels the same. S6 was hotter for me probably the glass and metal body dissipates heat easier thus making us feel the heat more.

Thats why i find removable battery in g4 is a gem because when the phone is constantly exposed to prolonged heat, it affects the battery life a lot. 6 months down the road, the battery quality probably drops 30-40% of its original capacity.

Those who change phones often wont need to worry. But those who prefer to use their phones for 1 or 2 years, having the ability to swap out the battery is godsend.

One of the critical deciding factors betwen G4 and S6 is the removable battery.

The G4 may seem to have a lower SOC but the snap808 is optimized for the G4 thus putting it on par with say the Snap810. Nonetheless, it's a great phone with killer camera and a good battery life. Now.. What do I do with the Flex 2? Do I flex it 360 degrees? LOL
