Been using the G4 for a week. Mostly been loving the experience, but the battery life super cui! Can't get to afternoon without charging. Usually down to 30% ( from fully charged at 6am) by 10/11am.

Guys, avoid updating youtube to the latest one, if you did, drop right back to ver 10.21.58

the full screen in the latest update broke the [x] to hide the play control

1h Runkeeper, 30min facebook, 3 or 4 rounds of Word with Friends and lots of Whatsapp messages.

I have. But you'd hope that the battery would at least last till about 3 before having to recharge or change batt.

Regarding scratches on the laser plastic cover, I've used the automotive meguairs scratch x 2.0 to try clear the scratches I have on it, seems like most of the scratches are gone and doesn't affect the laser. Worth to go through the trouble if you're paranoid about it.

The scratches won't 100% be gone but at least it doesn't look so scratched up as before. Quite glossy under the light. No need to apply strength. Just lightly rub will do.

LG does not allow bootloader unlock for Asian sets yet. Without this rooting is not possible now
