H815 SEA v10f KDZ & Rooted v10f system image

MEGA

H81510F_00_0113.kdz MD5: EDB2FFDBCE11498CF852F9634D06FE5E

rootedsystem.img MD5: ADC20EC86B19D66564F02A946ABF5341

Weird I flashed the rootedsystem.img but turns out its V10c.

Might have flashed the wrong one though haha, guess I'll try to redownload, and reflash the files.

Gotta redo everything o:

Edit: just to confirm, to flash over the current rooted one, I repeat step 3 from here

http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586

Is thag right? Or do I have to use the kdz to return to no root and then do step 3 again?

I got my phone back. Its motherboard is now 602xxxxx.

They also mentioned that the technicians replaced the front cover of my phone. Now the imei number is also different.

I asked the LG stuff for a label for the box so that the imei numbers would tally but they remarked that they don't have such a service here...

the slightly annoying thing now that im on a the v10f SEA version is that it keeps telling me that there's a new update (v20c) and wants me to update.

Ive disabled all the auto check for update settings and I still get that notification. Last resort is clear cache of the 'software update' app in settings and hope it works.

I tired the following method and the notification seems to go away now. U can give it a go too...=)

1) Enter on dialer 277634#*#

2) Go to Field test

3) Wifi Test.

4) OTA Setting.

5) Press Disable

Must be the tech careless, broke the front bezel. Otherwise, why not ask them to change a new handset?

doesnt work for our model. the dialer will give some 'invalid MMI code' message

it looks like different carriers handle OTA with different sets of apk files so its a matter of figuring out which one to disable

Recently my G4 started acting up, it will sort of 'reboot' itself. It's not exactly a reboot as the off time is short, less than a min. It will go black then show the LG screen before quickly getting back to home screen.

Anyone else facing same problem?

It's under warranty. Use for 4 months before it went bootloop.
Contacted Expansys and phone shipped smoothly back to them (free of charge). Upon reaching them, they said phone unable to repair due to my phone IMEI doesn't match with the box sticker, WTh..

I explained to them this phone came with the box which bought from them. And so they now investigate the case with their supplier. Its been 3 weeks since the phone reach their hand, pending update from Expansys.

Finally received feedback from Expansys. They replied, "We have sent a follow up and have been advised that the product operating system is unstable and is causing the issue.".

As what I thought in mind, the MM is the root causing the phone consume battery fast and randomly warm /hot.

I bought another LG G4 local set this round, and I keep cancel the OTA update every time it pop up. Running smoothly and battery life work great on Lollipop V10c.
