Had the issue when my phone back from repair, have you resolved this issue?

I updated the OS firmware and don't have that issue anymore.

But now the phone heats up easily and doesn't cool down even awhile after usage. Seems like there's something running in the background causing the mb to heat up.

Not a good sign. Might not last long with prolonged heating.

Just a quick tip for those whose kena bootloop.

I read on xda and decided to try it, I put my phone in the freezer for 20mins and it booted up. I was able to backup all the stuff that I need by connecting the cable and leaving the phone in the fridge. So if you guys have any impt things to backup you all can try it.

After taking the phone out the fridge it probably lasted 5mins or so b4 going back into bootloop

What version is your firmware? I'm currently on Android 6.0, security patch 2016-01-01, kernel version 3.10.84, buier MRA58K and software version V20C-SEA-XX.

I checked the update software update but was prompted I'm using the latest software version..

the shorter warranty for charger, battery etc is standard practice across all companies and its the same if you look at other devices like laptops too

strange that they didnt declare the warranty expired initially though.




Those people using V20C, yes the performance (especially battery life) does feel worse than lollipop and thats why a bunch of people actually downgraded to lollipop, myself included. Even battery aside there were a ton of other little annoyances like the overly aggressive auto brightness that made me ditch MM for good on the G4

Talking to LG customer support can really vomit blood! Keep asking me to send down my phone for verification while they already know my phone was sent in for repair Feb 2016. I was asking whether is it covered under warranty, but keep repeating like robot that I have to send down for verification.

My stand was, if this is not covered under warranty repair then I'm gonna throw this piece of junk out of window to get myself out of this misery experience.

I sent mine in on Sat and was advised it will take 5 to 7 working days to change the MB.
