the amount of time between sending phone and receiving it back can vary a lot depending on factors like the number of cases they have to handle.

My case was 23rd Dec sent in, 2nd Jan ready to collect, so it was exactly 5 working days, excluding christmas. The batch that came before me took longer as the centre had to resupply the replacement motherboards

Ya thats what they told me too but bro coldhead sent it in later than me and got a call from LG that it is fixed.

Anyway, i called them 40 mins ago and they said its ready. Just collected my phone 1 min ago.

Perhaps its varies on situation.. Saw from FB this pregnant lady got her G4 phone serviced and collected on the same day..


Can't wait to collect mine though.. im estimating to collect this Friday if it does take 5 working days. :s12:

This boot loop issue is a joke. Mine happened at 2am this morning while i was reading some sports news.

Went to the service centre today and there were 9 people having the same issues. Korean and Caucasian fellows' faces were black and asking is there any way they can back up their phones.

Phone rebooted when I launch the camera. After rebooted, camera was working for a while. Close camera, launch again and the phone rebooted again. Freaking irritating!

Today up lorry. Phone left on the table with screen on.. suddenly just reboot and stuck in bootloop liao.

Just join in the trend my G4 die on me while i am in the toilet on a monday morning last year... It just hang and reboot in to lg logo... And when to lg service center.... Everyone is serviceing G4... When my turn. I told them my is export set from hk.. and that idoit told me oh it not under warrenty cos it export set so we need to charge higher for the repair cost $350 for change MB not yet include GST.. I told him i can get a new phone less then $350..then i walk off....

You can ask them did they charge local set the same higher charges when they viod the warranty. Their service center is indeed blood suckers. Even out of warranty normal phone they dun charge lower. An old fellow next to me brought in a out of warrantied value phone for evaluation. He must have the worst shock of his life when told high charges for logic board and later also suggest the same additional for battery. Detest LG service.

they rejected mine the first time when i say i dont hve the proof of purchase and quoted me 400++ for the mb replacement.

bros here teach me some way to overcome that and now my lg g4 is in their service center..waiting them to contact me for collection. :D

Wow...your phone is definitely showing signs, better back-up and go service centre.
