Thank you for sharing brother, something that will cool
down all those who are ignorant about the power and
flexibility available on the G5.

There are much more things to discover once it is
available in the local mobile outlet or watch more videos as
they are available.

The G5 is something like the second commandment after
V10. The new system in being modular is not wrong by
itself.

It is something consumers have to learn and discover
its beauty in the common sense of being a friend to whoever
is the owner. ;)=:p

Dude, are you writing Literature? You should cut the crap and get to the point..

Actually I believe that the EasyHome UI is designed for those who are not used to smartphone or those who are beginner users of smartphones.
An example will be Xiaomi's Lite Mode, which also have an app drawer, which the regular UI doesn't have. :)

Sent from my Rice phone using GAGT

They said that by removing the app drawer it is to simplify the UI but why they call it 'Easy Home' with the app drawer?

So now it's not the user that are confused, it's the manufacturers!! :s13:

*ahem*

the false prophet seeks to lead you astray with profundities and hyperbole. such is the nature of the overly-verbose, to squander away what precious time we have, that we would endure the presence of one who flaunts his vocabulary with utmost hubris.

BUT should you decide that your endurance of this grandiloquent orator is beginning to wear most thin, you shall learn and discover the beauty of adding his name to the ignore list.

<insert flowery aphorism here about the nature of human ignorance and the preservation of self interest>

Let this place once again be a refuge for those invested in meaningful dialogue, where the exchange of knowledge will not be undermined by those who only see value in what grandiose words their own minds may conjure.

tl:dr i mentioned before already, block the ****er lah

There was something i missed out about the B&O DAC module apparently its compatible with other devices too. I was one of the bigger critics of the magic slot being a party trick that probably only lasts 1 generation, so its nice that at least something may outlive the G5 because we all know how short the lifespan of a phone is...

i heard it was 8MP on the wide angle lens due to the complexity of larger sensor with a wide angle.

Kind of wish LG did something like Samsung's S7 case with threaded mount for swappable lens. Then you can put wide angle, telephoto or whatever you want on it.

When doing photography on my G4 I have several filters, all of the standard 37mm size, and I have one of those clips that is sized to the 37mm diameter standard so can screw in those filters and clip it to the phone. If LG could have done a magic clip or something that lets you do interchangeable lens/filter on top of the rear camera, it will increase the versatility a lot

That looks like a great wide angle view.

Although, only available at 8MP for wide shot. Not sure how the quality will be like but most likely at least enough for general social media upload.

Such an awesome and powerful G5..............but..................

such a tiny 5.3" display........Yucks!

I'm waiting for a larger display of at least 5.9" from LG...... :s8:

The smaller display and battery are two main reasons i will not be considering this. Will probably wait for Note 6, even though i try to avoid physical home button if there's a choice.

The 3 biggest factors holding me back from the G5 (vs the S7) are camera imaging quality, lack of wireless charging and lack of Samsung Pay which is reportedly coming to SG later this year. I can probably do without wireless charging and Samsung Pay but the camera is going to be a major decision point. By all counts, the S7 has the potential to give best of class images. I tend to like my photos saturated, even if they are not colour accurate. As long as the G5's camera image quality and speed of use is not too far behind the S7, it still has a fighting chance for my wallet as I do like the other things that the G5 has to offer...

Do you think will cost more this time round? New design, new wide angle camera, dual cameras, modular battery compartment, etc.... Seems like consumers will need to pay for their R&D fees. :s13:

I think around 850 but price will drop after that. Their holding price not as strong..

Duno why LG is always so weak in battery life, I think they should do sth about their software first.

Ya.. I was hoping that LG introduces a larger display model, a 5.9" version of G5... but sadly nothing has been mentioned about a possibility of a larger display flagship model in coming months.

Coz, coming from a 5.9" Pro 2, I can't go back to smaller screen as gaming and video watching as well as easiness of reading and texting are simply awesome on larger display for me.

Having said that, those who are okay with 5.3", G5 looks good. :)
