I e-mailed LG a while ago on this as well and recently got a message back from LG that now the App drawer is in the LG apps (like in V20).
I just checked. It works!
Settings > About Phone > Common > Update Centre > App Updates
Then wait a while for the home & app drawer to show up to then download.
Wah finally. I checked yesterday still dont have. Maybe they just add it.

I am very used to app drawer. Don't know why google choose to remove it. It makes my phone so much organised. Thanks LG for allowing us this option

Nooowwww, one last thing to research about that G6's back camera glass being easily scratched or easily cracked.

im sure if you have a case it should make the lens recessed inward rather than flush once the case is applied? So it have more protection

though I find to be safe, the best precaution is never put the phone in a pocket togethr with any metal item like keys etc.

This is an issue also on V20. So I put dbrand on the camera glass in my V20 before. Seems helped. I think. :s13:

Thank you for the advise :)

Not a deal breaker for me.

My G4 easily had scuff mark on the back camera glass (plastic?) cover and I wished I had stick on some protection there.

So if I get the G6, I need to source out for a well cut screen protection thingy for the back camera.

I'd always order slickwrap for the back and camera on all my devices. Waiting for my carbon fiber to arrive for my black beauty.

Will share images once I installed.

Yeah, just use a case with recessed camera port and you should be set. The design will usually have a recessed fingerprint sensor port also that will help guide your finger to the port too

Same.

But that was LG having a lousy AR coating on the G4 to be honest. Had to replace the lens cover several times over 2 years. Luckily it takes only 2 screws.

Looking at my parents G5 I think they vastly improved on that coating at least. But not sure on the glass durability itself.

I have my G4 for almost 2 years. Not a single scratch on the camera lens. Are you using G4 without a case?
