tbf the g6 comes with a 2-year warranty, meaning you could go to them when the battery life is going to **** to get them to change it...
batteries do not have the same warranty as their devices
more likely the battery warranty is only 1 year long, this is quite standard for many electronics including laptops, regardless of how long the device warranty is
you also do not know if battery's natural charge cycle decline is covered by warranty, they may argue it is not a defect as it is expected behaviour of any smartphone battery, previously when I took my G4 to the service centre to complain on the battery life brought about their marshmallow update they also didnt fix it since it was 'software related' (i.e. not a defect, simply bad OS optimisation by the software devs)

Looking to transfer all my data (photos, videos, pdf, word) and apps from Samsung Note 3 to LG G6. Which application (pc or smartphone) have you used and works good?
What about the app drawer?Just e-mailed LG with regards to the app drawer. Hopefully I don't get a generic and ridiculous reply.

What I would usually suggest is:
1) Whatsapp - Google drive/microsd
2) SMS - cloud/microsd
3) Files - cloud/microsd
4) Apps - best is to redownload - if your Google account is synced with its app data, Google would ask if you would want to restore from your account when you sign in into the new phone. If chosen yes, it will auto-download all apps installed in your old phone (if possible).
I don't use those one-click backup type, never have the need to use one.
