Sure or not bro? S8 has nothing much to offer after watching the event last night. Only the Dex thingy is interesting. Still the same old camera, the same serve no purpose curves, weird placement of finger print scanner. Redundant features like iris scanner, and the what Beats Me when Google already has GA built in like the G6.

But then, consumers always look at the hooha by Samsung. Most of them getting S8 to show off basically.

Depends on consumers lah. For me, front camera matters so the 8mp with auto focus Vs 5mp tempted me abit. Saw a post on rear cameras comparison. S8 is slightly brighter and clearer than S7 and G6 though I'd say the latter's quality is rather impressive too. But in terms of battery wise, I think G6 might win on this.

I used G6 for few days and it is indeed a very good phone. The design is very nice and the wide angle camera is awesome. If anyone finds G6's new screen ratio weird, then Samsung S8's new screen ratio is even weirder!

S8 FFC not wide angle right?? I prefer wide angle for the front as well. Easier for group selfie also.

Well, that will really depends on your taste. Better in what ways. I like V20 because of its natural colors and having the wide angle mode is really convenient. In G6, both the wide and main camera are using the same sensor now so there is no drop of image quality for wide mode like V20. S8 uses the same camera module from last year S7. But if you do like S7 camera, then that's for you.

Don't have to rush. I guess lots of people are waiting to see how safe S8 is as well. If your contract can wait, just go for the hands on first.

Not wide like LG for sure but Samsung front cam since the S7 has always been wider than other phones. The front cam of G6 is a real pity. Be it wide or normal, the selfies really lose alot of details.. just bump abit more and I'll get it with no qns asked.. looking at other options such as Huawei P10+ before G6 is released in sg and test it personally. Should be by next week
