IMO, it does not make sense and no benefit to LG if they're going to release G6+ this month, since V30 will probably be announced by end of August.

If they price it differently at launch I guess......

Street price of LG6 is much lower, about $690?

It does not matter what the street price is. If it's higher in SRP, it will also be higher in street price. The point is, how much different would the price be to make a difference?

My native camera app takes 1s to start and less than 1s to save a photo. Are you saving photos to the SD card? Mine is class 10 speed.

What kind of games you playing? I play pokemon go intensely will heat up a bit. No issue with other games.

Why street price dun matter? Many of us dun buy from telco.....much cheaper than the SRP.

The camera is always slow to launch 1st time after a reboot, and also if how many apps are running. If the camera app is forced to be closed in the background, any subsequent launch will also be slow. Apparently fast launch of camera isn't a quality of this phone, not like Samsung.

Please read my posts again. The point was not about the pricing, but about how much _difference_ in pricing that LG will put up for G6+ or V30 compared to G6. This matters in regard to why LG should not release G6+ in SG, since if the price difference is not much between G6 -> G6+ -> V30, I don't see any reason for LG to release G6+ in SG. Of course, this is LG decision not mine, was just trying to point out the reason why G6+ shouldn't be released in SG at this point in time.

This goes back to a question that should be raised from my original post

How much diff can it be? G6 SRP is $988. G6+ $1099? V30 $1299? That would be funny.

Would one purchase G6, G6+ or V30 with the above pricing _difference_? Personally, I would choose either G6 or V30, wouldn't bother with G6+.

Based on the above assumption, v30 is $300 more than G6 would put it at s8+ pricing category based on current street price. It will be much harder at that price point imo

For that, LG will be aiming at Note 8 instead of S8+ for V30, just like V20 with Note 7.

Quite frankly, Samsung has no competition in their note series ever since the very first note 1. If you want a phone with a pen, look no further becos there is none. There maybe 1 or 2 phones that has pen but nothing compared to what Samsung has to offer

Yup, too bad for LG or any other manufacturers/brands/OEMs.

sounds like yours is abnormal

my stock camera app launches immediately

picture saving depends on your storage location and speed of storage medium

LG does offer a phone with a pen.

I think the LG stylus is, like deckcard said, 'nothing compared to what samsung has to offer'

the newest stylus model is what, mediatek processor, 720p display etc? The samsung note series is flagship grade
